    Administrators:

It is that time of year again and we are putting together dates for our water safety educational program. We can do sessions from 15 minutes to an entire class period. We just need to know how long you need it to be and for how many classes. If you have a small school population, we can cover the entire school, provided that it can be done in no more than two groups. Also, we need a DVD player, enough monitors so everyone can see, and a microphone for the bigger groups.

Due to COVID, if your school is doing virtual learning, we can plan to accommodate this. We will just need to know ahead of time and discuss the best way to go about it.

We will be offering these talks from January 1st to the middle of May. Usually, our schedule fills up quickly, so reserve your spot now. Talks at Stewart Beach can be arranged up to the end of school if we have the personnel to accommodate the group.

This season we are also offering Water Safety Talks from Beach Patrol Headquarters at Stewart Beach. If your teachers would like to bring their classes to the beach for a field trip, we would be happy to address them at that time.

To reserve a time and day for a water safety lecture please email me or call Beach Patrol’s Headquarters at 409-763-4769.

We hope to hear from you soon!

    Sincerely,

    Galveston Island Beach Patrol
